Vision Express - Head Office Interior Rebrand

Vision Express is one of the largest eye-care retailers in the UK. With over 550 stores nationwide, they provide an outstanding range of glasses, sunglasses and eyewear accessories. In 2021, following the acquisition of their parent company, Vision Express sought to reinvent their interior branding at their Head Office in Ruddington. Interior branding is a fantastic tool to communicate your company identity through the design and layout of a physical location. For Vision Express, a new owner was the perfect opportunity to enhance their brand awareness and align all aspects of their business.

John E Wright & Co were contacted to work with Vision Express in producing, printing and installing their new interior branding. With our years of experience working with businesses to elevate their interior branding, we were confident we could deliver exactly what Vision Express were looking for. This project would include a total reimagining of their Head Office, utilising several different print media to create a striking and stylish interior design.

John E Wright & Co made sure to overcome any challenges with careful planning, enabling us to successfully complete this project to a high-standard of quality and finish.

Our Solution

This project had a large scope, and required an extensive number of printed graphics covering several different media types. Across the entire Head Office, there were over eighty printed acrylic panels. Additionally, this job required use of our tension fabric system frames, including twenty-four smaller frames alongside two bespoke, full-wall tension graphics. Tension fabric systems allow for an elegant and smart looking finish, and were perfectly suited for the image Vision Express wished to demonstrate throughout their Head Office.

This project also utilised two large hanging banners for their lobby, in order to create a dramatic and striking visual when walking through their building. These were supported by a bespoke profile cut logo, to be placed in their reception, adding a stylish depth to any visitor’s first impressions.

Despite the large amount of print media required, John E Wright & Co were confident in our ability to deliver them at a high standard. We make use of the latest in cutting-edge print technology, including our state-of-the-art EFI Vutek H5 printer.

Adding to the challenge of this project was the complicated logistics it presented. Not only was this job to be completed from print to installation in a two-week turnaround time, we also had to work in tandem with our collaborators Complete Business Solutions for the interior rebrand. This meant working around decorators, as all wall surfaces needed to be repainted – as such, we could only install in areas of the building after they had been repainted and redecorated. To overcome this, John E Wright & Co made sure to co-ordinate with the decorators, aligning our schedules and timelines to make the process seamless for our client. This also meant we had to ensure we kept to all deadlines, as any delays would have a knock-on effect on our collaborators as well.

As a result of careful planning and communication between Vision Express and our collaborators Complete Business Solutions, John E Wright & Co were able to successfully complete this project to an excellent finish, and to the great satisfaction of Vision Express.
