DIGITAL PRINT - SPECIAL MEDIA

10 THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT DIGITAL PRINTING

There was a time when digital print was limited to printing onto lightweight paper stocks only. Now with the new generation of digital press we can print on to a variety of media for an almost unlimited range of uses. The following list will give you a good idea of the enormous range of applications for digital print.

1. Standard documents – leaflets, brochures, magazines, business cards, postcards, promotion and greetings cards onto coated and uncoated paper and boards 300gsm and over. Paper manufacturers are now producing a variety of stocks specifically targeted to operate with our digital process.

2. Complex die-cut folders, conventional and unusual binding and finishing solutions.

3. Variable data documents specifically targeted at your customers for increased response. Including the amazing Docucard – ideal for membership, loyalty, ID and retail cards. Some customers are quoting up to 30% response to relevant Business to Business mailings using variable data. Even simple mail shots directly targeted to an individual can return a response three times higher than non-specific promotions. This is a specialised service and you should Contact Us for more information

4. Non-paper stocks – durable water and chemical resistant sheet plastic and polyester materials; ideal for frequently handled documents such as workshop manuals, production guides, report covers, plus maps, swing-tags, airline safety sheets, membership/ID cards, plant pot spikes and menus.

5. Self-adhesive paper labels for a million uses – standard shapes and sizes for packaging, CD’s, badges, bottles, promotion, etc. Special profiles, kiss-cutting and lamination also available.

6. Non-paper self-adhesive labels – clear film and plastics for indoor and outdoor applications. Perfect for permanent or temporary signs, notices and stickers. Bright, vibrant colour reproduction. Water, chemical and tear resistant.

7. Dividers – tabbed or in-size, full colour printed, fully or tab only laminated. Special shapes and formats to suit your needs.

8. Lamination – gloss, matt or spot UV. Just the job for menus, brochure covers, manuals, etc. And to add that special feel to business cards, postcards, greetings cards and other promotional material.

9. Premium digital carbonless paper for colour and black and white printing. 2, 3 and 4 part sets, collated, perforated, padded, etc., to your requirements. Did you know that research found that colour application forms encourage fewer errors! Now you can have as many or few as you need at realistic prices.

10. Point of sale – wobblers, strutted show cards, shelf talkers, barkers, stickers and banners
