John E Wright achieve ISO Accreditation
for 9001 & 14001
We are very pleased to announce that in September 2008 John E Wright & Co. Limited received its certification in ISO9001 for Quality Management Systems and ISO14001 for Environmental Management Systems.
Currently only around 5% of UK companies have achieved ISO9001 and only around 1% have gained their ISO14001 certification. We know that our customers increasingly value working with companies that place their green policies and quality assurances at the heart of their operations. We can now offer this internationally recognised certification and state our continued commitment to good practice & environmental responsibility.
When embarking on this project we looked at a number of companies that provide assessment services, and we were pleased to choose QMS International PLC to assist us. Their help and advice has been invaluable and we will continue to work with them over the coming years to further improve our services across all of our activities.
John Flynn, who undertook the assessment for QMS Quality Management Systems, paid particular tribute to "the investment in people and training that enables John E Wright & Co to provide efficient and environmentally friendly services to their customers".

Certification
John E Wright are a certified company by the Forest Stewardship Council and the
Programme for the Endorsement of Forestry Certification. This means that we can
now display the respective logos on all communication media. The Forest Stewardship
Council and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forestry Certification are international
organisations that bring people together to find solutions which promote responsible
stewardship of the world’s forests.
But what does that really mean, and more importantly, what should it mean to you?
We already know that many of our customers and many of their clients are adopting
more ethical and environmentally friendly policies. many companies need to be seen
as being more socially aware. For instance, some of our clients are print managers
responsible for preserving the integrity of printed material for the world’s top
10 countries. Trademark certification provides international recognition to organisations
who support the growth of responsible forest management. Also by displaying the
logos we are telling our customers that we can guarantee the authentication of responsible
forest management products. We can now supply products which are accompanied with
Chain of Custody evidence. Chain of Custody, (CoC) certification is the defined
method of tracing a paper product back up through the supply chain to the forests
where the fibre originated.
